What is Yoga Sculpt?
Yoga Sculpt adds the use of hand weights and cardio to a Power Flow Class as an opportunity to work different muscles as a compliment to your yoga practice. Arrive prepared to sweat to upbeat music and uncover the physical and mental strength you’ve been seeking using techniques based on cutting edge research to boost metabolism and build lean muscle. You’ll leave class feeling inspired and ready to take on challenges “off the mat” with a smile. It’s not just a workout, it’s a way of life.

In addition to learning how to safely and effectively teach a Yoga Sculpt class you will also experience a month long retreat of goal setting to strengthen your personal integrity to create healthy habits and ensure that 2018 in your best year yet!

BOOKS & MATERIALS
Students will receive a manual and there will be one required reading book.
SPECIFIC PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The training will be held at the SLO Yoga Center, downtown San Luis Obispo, CA. The program will meet for 3 weekends and 4 Wednesday evenings in January, 2018.
Three weekends: January 5-7, January 12-13, January 26-28
Friday 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Four Wednesday evenings, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.: January 10, 17, 24, and 31.

After years practicing yoga, Brittni became a Yoga Teacher and Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor because, through her practice, she recognized her purpose is to use her positivity to inspire people to live passionately, on and off the mat. Brit completed two trainings with Core Power Yoga including a Yoga Master Extensions Course. She’s also completed advanced training with Peter Sterios, in addition to completing her Ayurveda studies in India with James Bailey to receive her 500-hour RYT certification. Always a student, Brit has taken continuing education with Jason Crandell in the Art of Sequencing and Yoga Anatomy totaling over 1000 hours of training. Brit believes that yoga is the easiest way to build strength, balance, and peace from the outside in.
"The physical practice of Yoga is simply a metaphor for every other aspect of our life. When we cultivate Balance, Flexibility, Courage and Strength in our physical body we start to notice those changes off the mat as well. Imagine that AMPLIFIED! That is what you can expect this training to provide. Whether or not you want to teach yoga, this training will take you down a road of self-discovery and give you a platform to grow physically, mentally and spiritually. I’m all about a non-dogmatic yet inspiring approach to share the life lessons yoga can teach us. My teaching approach is easily accessible and you can expect lots of hands on experience to not only strengthen your personal practice, but to learn the skills to confidently transform the lives of others. My intention is to help you discover the areas of your life and your practice that you are ready to improve. Through the teachings of Yoga, we will meet those challenges head on and you will leave this training more grounded, confident, and inspired than you've ever been."
