SUP YOGA

Your mat is a stand up paddle board; the world is your studio and all the elements have been invited – sun, wind, water and all of nature's beauty!  Enjoy learning while adapting to the motion of the board, the continuous challenge to balance, and strengthen your core and leg muscles.  Change is the only constant in life. On the water we learn to flow and enjoy the ride! 

After easily learning the basics of Stand Up Paddling, you will experience a dynamic and invigorating yoga class, using many basic yoga poses.  You will be amazed at the benefit of doing them while balancing on the board. Wear comfortable yoga or swim clothes, layer appropriately for weather.  Prepare for laughter and fun!

No previous paddle boarding experience is required.  Classes start with basic paddling instruction and the boards are very stable.  We have a fleet of Boga Yoga Paddleboards.  The first paddleboard specifically designed for doing Yoga on the water.

ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.  PLEASE REGISTER AHEAD AND ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY.

CLASSES ARE $35 (5-CLASS PACKS ARE AVAILABLE FOR $150). SLO Yoga Center Members get 10% off and non-members get a complimentary class at our downtown San Luis Obispo studio.

Includes instruction from a SUP Yoga Certified Instructor, standup paddleboard, paddle, and life vest rental. 

In 2017, we are offering SUP Yoga on Saturday mornings at 9:30 for a limited set of dates:  6/3, 6/10, 6/17, 7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/29, 8/19, 8/26.  Our September & October schedule is TBD.  To book a class, simply click on the button below and navigate to the date you'd like to book.
